Therapeutic riding instructor
Mirela Gujić is a therapeutic riding instructor at Pegasos Center, where she is actively involved in the daily work with children with developmental challenges. Her role includes leading and assisting in therapeutic sessions, as well as providing direct support to participants in collaboration with the professional team.
She holds a degree in Social Work and has extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities and developmental difficulties. Her professional background includes work with organizations such as “Kutak” and “Dajte nam šansu”, as well as experience in preschool settings and individual support for children with diverse developmental needs.
Mirela has been part of the Pegasos team since 2012, where she began as a volunteer in the therapeutic riding program. Through years of hands-on work and continuous learning within the center, she developed specialized skills in working with both horses and children, building a strong foundation that led to her current role as an instructor.
Her experience includes long-term direct work with children through educational, therapeutic, and inclusive programs, with a focus on understanding individual needs and providing support in a safe and structured environment.
She is recognized for her patience, dedication, and ability to build trust with children, as well as for her calm and steady approach in working with both horses and participants. Her combination of professional knowledge and practical experience makes her an important part of the Pegasos therapeutic team.
