FAQ

Do I need any previous experience to start riding?
No. Most people come without any prior experience. Lessons are adapted for beginners and guided step by step.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Visits are possible only with prior booking so we can ensure availability and assign a suitable horse.

How long does a lesson last?
A lesson lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

Is there a weight limit?
Yes. The maximum rider weight is 90 kg, for the safety of both rider and horse.

What kind of horses do you use?
For beginners, we use calm, experienced horses with a long history of working with riders of all levels. They are reliable and help build confidence from the very first ride.

Can children ride and from what age?
Children can start from an early age, with lessons adapted to their needs and with instructor assistance.

What should I wear and do I need any equipment?
Clothing should be comfortable and suitable for the weather. We recommend flexible or slightly loose trousers (jeans with stretch or sweatpants) and closed shoes, preferably with laces. No special equipment is required. Helmets are provided, and protective vests are also available.

Are sneakers allowed?
Yes. Sneakers are the most common choice for beginners. While standard riding boots have a small heel, this is not necessary at our center as we use safety stirrups that prevent the foot from slipping through.

Do lessons take place in bad weather?
Yes, in most cases. Thanks to the indoor arena, riding is possible even in rain or colder weather.

Do falls happen?
As with any activity where you are learning a new skill, falls are possible, but they are rare at the beginning. They usually happen later, when riders start exploring their limits.

What if I fall?
You get back up, the horse waits calmly, and you continue. There is a well-known phrase in riding, “back in the saddle”, which comes from exactly that moment.

Will the horse kick or bite me?
Our horses are calm and used to working with people. They do not kick or bite without reason. It is important to understand their nature and behave calmly and respectfully.

My child has developmental difficulties. Can they still ride?
Yes. Therapeutic riding is a dedicated part of our work. You can find more information in the “Riders of Hope” section.
